Established in 1991, Nemlanka is a golden dream brought to life by Mr Ajith Boralessa (Chairman and Managing Director of Nemlanka), renowned for his expertise in identifying and sourcing the purest and most exceptional array of gems to craft unique pieces of jewellery that are synonymous with excellence.
Mr. Ajith Boralessa graduated as a gemologist (D. GEM G) in 1979 from Deutsche Gemmologische Gesellschaft e.V, Germany and has established himself as a renowned entrepreneur in Sri Lanka. He was awarded the Sri Lankan and Malaysian Entrepreneur of the year for two consecutive years (2008/2009) and acted an Executive Committee Member for Sri Lankan Gem and Jewellery Association from 2009 to 2010.
Furthermore, Mr. Ajith Boralessa was also the Former President of the Gem and Jewellery Dealer Association of World Trade Center Sri Lanka (2016/2017) and continues to be a member of the Sri Lanka Gem and Jewellery Association providing the highest quality products to the valued clientele.
